Soraiya is a songwriter from Vancouver, Canada who grew up singing Indian devotional songs and studying Western classical music. In November 2017 she released her acoustic folk album That Last Tear. Her first gospel album will be released in 2019, and a children's album will follow.
In addition to her solo projects, Soraiya works with other artists. For the last few years she has been in Los Angeles co-writing, recording, and performing with hit songwriter Michael Anderson (best known for his country hit "Maybe It Was Memphis"). Their band is The Tender Mercies, and they released their debut EP in May 2018.
